As the Army enters the information age, newly commissioned officers that choose the Signal Corps at Fort Gordon, Georgia find it a challenging and rewarding military experience.



The Signal Corps Regiment, activated June 1, 1986, is a component of the U.S. Army Regimental System. Personnel transferring to the fort are helped by a wide variety of relocation assistance programs accessible through the base ACS. Assistance includes Army Family Team Building, Military Assistance Program, Family Advocacy, employment assistance, exceptional family program and the BOSS Program for single personnel. A Children & Youth Branch, Pine Camp, and Vet Clinic are also available. While there are no DODDS schools on Fort Gordon, post and off-post students attend public schools in Richmond, Columbia or Aiken counties, or one of a number of private schools in the area.



Medical services are handled by the Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Recreation opportunities abound at Fort Gordon, with bowling, golf, stables, gyms, pools, recreation areas and more.
